Oorspronkelijk werd deze rustieke soep bereid door vissers om geen onverkochte of beschadigde vis te verspillen. De verschillende vissoorten werden samen gekookt in een grote pan, geparfumeerd met extra vierge olijfolie, knoflook en verse tomaten.  <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Elke Adriatische haven \u2013 van Vasto tot Giulianova en via Pescara \u2013 heeft zijn eigen versie, maar allemaal delen ze dezelfde authenticiteit: een eenvoudige, gezellige keuken die diep verankerd is in de Italiaanse volkstraditie.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In die tijd werd de Brodetto met de familie gegeten, vergezeld van geroosterd brood dat in de saus werd gedoopt \u2014 een echt symbool van
